MEET OUR HERO NAHJEE GRANT

Nahjee attended Penn Valley Elementary, Welsh Valley Middle, and Lower Merion High

“I write stories that inspire change and shape the minds of children in a positive way. Seeing the looks on the kids faces signing their book makes my work extremely gratifying and well worth the sacrifices to create these stories. ” - Nahjee Grant

WHAT IS NAHJEE'S WISH?

"Break the world record for the Largest Book Signing to promote early childhood literacy"

"Nahjee writes for all children but especially gives voice to students who feel stuck or do not necessarily know what they want to do with their lives.  Nahjee's early academic struggles forced him to focus and take responsibility for his actions. Once he was given a second chance to prove himself at Lower Merion, he began writing children's books to share his story and inspire young people to persevere through their struggles and become anything they want in life.

Nahjee is a fighter and a champion of all people, no matter their color, race, religion or background. Through his hard work and dedication to serve his community he impacts a lot of people's lives. He inspires me everyday and makes me feel like the best mom in the world. " - Gerri Hunter, Nahjee's Mother
